LET'S CATCH UP: The Circus, The Beach Trip and Happy 4th of July

A DAY AT THE CIRCUS
Today we had a great day at the Circus! We went with our friends the Mile's, the Fusano's, AND the Reese's (Liz's sister in law Cherice and her family were there also). The kids had so much fun and enjoyed all the festivities: eating circus treats, watching all the acrobats, and clapping for the funny clowns. Scott's and my favorite part is watching the motorcycles (all 7 of them) going round and round in that small round cage...it is amazing and almost unbelievable! After the Circus Clarissa took us over to a yummy Mexican place called "Rodeo." A BIG thanks to Samantha for getting the tickets and putting this fun day together! We love all our friends!






BEACH TRIP
Our friends the Fusano's invited us to spend four days at their families beach house in Channel Islands (Oxnard Harbor). We had such an amazing time and couldn't have asked for a better vacation this summer! We spent every day packed with fun activities: we hit the beach everyday, went boogie boarding, surfing, swam in the ocean, kayaking, boating, eating tons of food, shopping, going on walks, the guys took the kids to see Wall-E, playing games and just having as much fun as we could. Thanks for all the great memories. Thanks for the fun nighttime boat rides John, thanks Liz for taking Izek kayaking for the first time- he LOVED it and we will never forget Apples to Apples! We will never forget it...summer, sun, sand and friends - who could ask for anything more!?! We could never thank you enough :)










FOURTH OF JULY NASCAR RACE
We had so much fun on the 4th. Scott got tickets to the NASCAR Race in Irwindale, California (sponsored by the CHP) and we invited some of our friends. The Fusano's, Mile's, and Reese's all came and we had a wonderful time. It was pretty hot out but once the sun went down it was beautiful. It was quite loud but the kids wore earplugs and had such a blast! We were so exhausted by the end of the night but the Fireworks show was spectacular! It was a memorable day and we were glad to share it with our good friends! Thanks everyone!
